Food

Food is an essential part of our life. There are huge varieties of food all around us. They come from different cultures and countries, such as Japan, Thai, Hong Kong, Chinese, Indian, Malay and of course, Western. My family likes to travel from places to places in Singapore to try out the different types of food that all of us like to eat. Food can be presented by different techniques to be served and most of the food have a history of their own. And it is interesting to know about their history, and perhaps the way of consuming them. I bet you must be thinking how my family knows famous hawker centres or places that sells delicious and famous dishes of food by different cultures. Well, I have to thank my mum for that. She jots down places that sells good food through television programmes and some of her friends may recommend her to try food at some places too. Yeah, and thats all I can say for now.

Till the next assignment then.

Family

Family is relatively important to us. As what all of us have been talking about, 'Blood is thicker than water". Yeah, its true. Families are different from friends, in fact, they are even more understanding, caring and loving. They understand you more than friends do. Although in some circumstances, we may find that friends are reliable and trustworthy, but sometimes if you are having bad terms with them, they may backstab you and talk bad things about you. But you see, families will always stand by your side and support you in everything you do. They are your most reliable listening ears and they are related to you by blood.

Families are like our lifetime friends. No matter how tough or difficult life may seems, families will stand by you, guiding you through moments of life.

National Service - should girls be enlisted?

Well, I think girls should not be enlisted, they tend to be more gentle, and are made for gentle work. Boys are more suitable for National Service. They can ensure that the country is well-protected, they have more skills than girls, and so much stronger too. As what we know, boys are generally stronger in nature, and girls are born to be more gentle, and they will not do tough work. On the other hand, if they are willing to join National Serive, its up to them.
